1. General information
Articles, service pages, checklists, consultations and downloadable material are provided for general information and practical digital guidance. They do not replace advice from a lawyer, accountant, tax adviser, auditor, insurer, cybersecurity specialist or other appropriately qualified professional.
2. Artificial intelligence and compliance support
MediaMatic may help organisations inventory AI-enabled tools, improve documentation, identify operational gaps and prepare for requirements under the EU Artificial Intelligence Act. This is technical and operational readiness support. It is not legal advice, certification, a conformity assessment, an audit opinion or a guarantee of compliance.
Classification and obligations depend on the actual system, role, data, purpose, sector and deployment. Where legal interpretation or formal assurance is required, we will recommend independent qualified advice or an appropriate conformity-assessment route.
3. AI-generated material
AI-assisted text, code, images, summaries or recommendations may be incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable. Human review, fact checking, security testing, rights clearance and contextual assessment remain necessary before use. Do not place confidential, regulated or personal information into an AI service unless its use has been authorised and appropriately assessed.
4. Websites, SEO and commercial results
Search rankings, traffic, leads, conversion rates and business outcomes depend on competition, search-engine changes, market demand, client decisions and many factors outside our control. Examples, forecasts and previous results do not guarantee a particular outcome.
5. Security, maintenance and backups
Updates, monitoring, malware removal, security reviews and backups reduce risk but cannot make a website immune to attack, data loss, service interruption or newly discovered vulnerabilities. A security review is limited to its stated scope and point in time. Restore success depends on the availability and integrity of backups and connected services.
6. Third-party platforms and links
WordPress, plugins, hosting, domains, email, search engines, APIs, social networks and AI providers are independently operated. Their features, prices, terms, availability and security may change. A link or named service is not a guarantee or continuing endorsement.
7. Client decisions and legal duties
Clients remain responsible for business decisions; lawful content and data; required notices, permissions and contracts; sector-specific obligations; staff training; and accepting or rejecting recommendations. A written engagement may assign particular responsibilities differently.
8. Liability and other terms
Nothing in this disclaimer excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. It must be read with the website terms and any written client agreement. Project-specific responsibilities, remedies and limits take priority where agreed.
